Harvest Gathering 2008

I wanted to share my journal entry from our gathering at Joy and Al's home. It was such a powerful evening for me thanks to you all.

Last night was the most amazing night and time of prayer in my life. We went to Joy and Al's house as we always do each year at this time as many of our other new friends do and we met so many new others. So many homes and families represented the love of the Lord under on roof we could feel your presence all around us. It was peaceful, warm and calm like a day when the sun is all around you and your best friend is there and your having the time of your life and you don't want it to end. We all joined in a circle and in a electrifying moment joined hands each of us in a different time different walk with the Lord in our lives, but at that very moment in time because one body of Christ. We were sisters and brothers instantly no matter of backgrounds, sins, and who we were. Eyes were opened that had never seen before, hearts could feel that had not felt this love before, fear was removed we all became equally no one was greater then the man that shed his blood on the cross for our lives. Each in turn prayed for his fellow man, friend, lover, family. Pleading for health, life, healing, and pain to be gone. Men were saved and brought home to there Father God for the first time. Oh to see the glory in your eyes my Father as you must have danced. A man was saved by the request of the building of a wooden cross. This man has almost lost his family this year. But putting his love and effort and gifts into this cross has shown him what your love and grace means to us. It was amazing to see a blind man set free. You do work in amazing ways! We heard the words of a beautiful woman sing your praise and she prayed for our children and there generation. What an amazing gift she is to us all! A man that can hear your words and share them with us was more then anyone could ask for Lord. As I sit here now and write down all that he told me in fear that I might forget. I am in ahh of all that I have learned tonight. Then I have to think I sit and tell you all this Father and you already know you knew I would meet these people tonight. You knew I would be friends with them you have been praying for me to make the right choice and I choose yes. Thank you for loving me so much thank you for me new friends Lord. May we be as tight as the bind in a mothers womb as a child is made in a mothers womb because that is never broken. In in that together with you we can do great things. Because with out you we are nothing but great fools how mess things up. Together we are strong in your name. God Bless my friends keep them safe and satan at there feet and out of there homes. I love them all Lord Amen.
